Protech® N KOTE

The products of the PROTECH N KOTE range are formulated and developed based on the incorporation of nitrogen fertilizers with CRF technology (Controlled Release Fertilizers), which allow a gradual release of nitrogen, avoiding losses through leaching and volatilization. This is achieved by encapsulating the nitrogen with a polymer that allows the gradual release of the nitrogen based on the soil temperature and the thickness of the encapsulation.

The rate of release of urea nitrogen from the PROTECH N KOTE range depends on soil temperature and the thickness of the fertilizer package. Depending on the thickness of the polymer with which the nitrogen is encapsulated, the months of fertilizer release can be estimated, based on soil temperature.

Under the condition of the soil temperature, the humidity penetrates the polymer (which acts as a cover or encapsulation of the grain), gradually dissolving the interior of the grain), which due to the osmotic action gradually releases the nutrients through the pores of the encapsulation.
