What is PROTECH LIFE?

PROTECH LIFE is ARESA’s technology that integrates high-quality NPK mineral fertilisers with selected microorganisms, capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen, solubilising locked-up phosphorus and potassium, and activating soil biology.

The result is a more efficient, smarter mineral fertiliser with a prolonged effect, maximising every unit of nutrient applied.

Why combine mineral fertilisation and microbiota?

For decades, mineral fertilisers have been the foundation of agricultural productivity. However, in the soil:

  • up to 60–70% of nitrogen is lost,

  • more than 90% of phosphorus becomes locked up,

  • and only 2–3% of potassium is available.

PROTECH LIFE acts where conventional fertilisers fall short, activating the soil’s natural biological processes.

How PROTECH LIFE works in the soil

  1. Biological nitrogen fixation (N)
    Nitrogen-fixing strains convert atmospheric N₂ into plant-available ammonium, complementing nitrogen nutrition as mineral N becomes depleted.

  2. Phosphorus solubilisation (P)

  3. Potassium and silicon release (K–Si)
    These strains act on silicates and soil minerals, releasing K and Si, which are essential for:

    These microorganisms:
    • produce phytohormones,
    • generate siderophores and natural antibiotics,
    • compete with soil-borne pathogens.
