What is PROTECH LIFE?
PROTECH LIFE is ARESA’s technology that integrates high-quality NPK mineral fertilisers with selected microorganisms, capable of fixing atmospheric nitrogen, solubilising locked-up phosphorus and potassium, and activating soil biology.
The result is a more efficient, smarter mineral fertiliser with a prolonged effect, maximising every unit of nutrient applied.
Why combine mineral fertilisation and microbiota?
For decades, mineral fertilisers have been the foundation of agricultural productivity. However, in the soil:
up to 60–70% of nitrogen is lost,
more than 90% of phosphorus becomes locked up,
and only 2–3% of potassium is available.
PROTECH LIFE acts where conventional fertilisers fall short, activating the soil’s natural biological processes.
How PROTECH LIFE works in the soil
- Biological nitrogen fixation (N)
Nitrogen-fixing strains convert atmospheric N₂ into plant-available ammonium, complementing nitrogen nutrition as mineral N becomes depleted.

Phosphorus-solubilising strains release organic acids and phosphatase enzymes that unlock insoluble phosphorus in the soil, making it available to roots.

These strains act on silicates and soil minerals, releasing K and Si, which are essential for:
